style=\"--awb-content-alignment:justify;\"><p>The European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly (GA) took place in Vienna from 27<sup>th<\/sup> April to 2<sup>nd<\/sup> May 2025. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.egu25.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EGU GA<\/a> is a great opportunity to display results, and to meet with colleagues from Europe and beyond. Results of the <a href=\"https:\/\/camaera-project.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CAMAERA project<\/a> were presented by HYGEOS, coordinator of the project, and colleagues from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.knmi.nl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KNMI<\/a> (Netherlands) and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.ilmatieteenlaitos.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FMI<\/a> (Finland):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/hygeos.com\/en\/team\/sremy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Samuel R\u00e9my<\/a> gave an oral presentation on the first implementation of fungal spores in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecmwf.int\/en\/forecasts\/documentation-and-support\/changes-ecmwf-model\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IFS<\/a>-COMPO, which led to fruitful discussion with the audience. His presentation is available <a href=\"https:\/\/camaera-project.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/CAMAERA_EGU2025_SamuelRemy.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/hygeos.com\/en\/team\/nathan-capon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nathan Capon<\/a> presented a poster on the work to estimate whitecap fraction using various inference models, and to integrate this methodology in IFS-COMPO. His poster is available <a href=\"https:\/\/camaera-project.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/CAMAERA_EGU2025_NathanCapon.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Tommi Bergman presented a poster about the implementation of the modal aerosol scheme in OpenIFS. His poster is available <a href=\"https:\/\/camaera-project.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/CAMAERA_EGU2025_TommiBergman.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Furthermore, a <a href=\"https:\/\/camaera-project.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/CAMAERA_GeoGlobal2025_SamuelRemy.pdf\">poster<\/a> presents CAMAERA\u2019s activities at the <a href=\"https:\/\/earthobservations.org\/about-us\/events\/geo-global-forum-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Group on Earth Observations (GEO) global forum 2025<\/a>, which takes place from 5<sup>th<\/sup> to 9<sup>th<\/sup> of May in Rome. Organized in the wake of Italy\u2019s G7 presidency, the GEO Global Forum brings together policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators from around the world. The GEO Global Forum 2025 offers a global stage to highlight contributions, commitments, and innovative Earth observation solutions. Presenting CAMAERA\u2019s work in a such high -level conference helps to display the EU\u2019s prowess in the use of Earth Observations.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div
