HYGEOS continues in the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service

On 28th February 2025, the CAMS2_35 project ended successfully after 42 months and 104 technical deliverables. It was dedicated to the development of aerosols and trace gases in the global forecasting system of the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS).

To ensure the continuity of the service, the successor project CAMS2_35bis started on 1st April 2025 and will last until 31st March 2028. This new project is implemented by a consortium led by KNMI and HYGEOS. Thus, HYGEOS confirms its strong involvement in CAMS, providing its global aerosol modelling expertise to bring continued improvements to the global CAMS products.
